I have been so satisfied with my current setup, I've been afraid to shop for fear of finding all new uber ultra ultralight stuff. That said, I haven't even looked at my dividend to see how much I have. If I do have some to burn, I'll probably use it to make a dent in a new ground shelter. I really miss my Golite Shangri-La and will probably get a shelter in that same vein.

Only $7.90 dividend this time. I'm kind of bummed, though. Just the day before I got the dividend and coupon cards in the mail, I ordered a pair of Merrell boots. They'll be delivered to the local REI this Friday. The dividend along with the 20 percent coupon would have given me a pretty good discount.
I may take advantage of REI generous return policy and return the boots as soon and I go to REI to pick them up and get the full refund. Then go back home and reorder them using the dividend and coupon. I've started taking blood pressure medicine within the past month and they cause my ankles to swell. I may have to get a wider or next size larger pair anyway.
If none of that works, I'll do what BigLoad is going to do and get a spare filter cartridge.

Maybe a spare water filter cartridge. Always good to have! Will you be in CO this summer? Maybe not until Pickle Gulch, although there's always a chance it might be sooner. It looks like we'll celebrate our 30th anniversary in Yellowstone.

I'll have to think long and hard about how to spend my $2.50 dividend.

Not sure what I'll get. I'm dialed in pretty well with my BPing gear, so I may get stuff for car camping and scout camp.

I got a $50 dividend, but that's all basically due to the fact that I found out that my shoes and socks were 1-1.5 sizes too small and replaced a bunch of stuff. Not sure what to spend it on, but socks are always a good investment.

I'm getting ~$45. I don't need anything, but I guess I'll find something.
Why do I keep doing this? It seems like someone is planning my life for me.

$2.67 dividend here. That's almost two Clif bars.
REI dividend tip: don't use it to buy stuff. Instead, pick out what you would have bought with the dividend and then buy it with your REI credit card, that way you get 5% back and potentially regular dividend credit for next year. Cash out this year's dividend and use the cash to pay off the credit card bill.

new clothes due to weight loss. New clothes, yes. I bought some new things for the Scotland trip last year which is part of why my dividend was the largest one I have ever received.
