"Haha. Been like that since my university days in the early '80s. I'm known as a pretty laid back guy so, no: no vibrating, no sleepless nights and to tell you the truth, no withdrawals when I, for some reason, don't get it. Don't know why but maybe it's because I'm a sipper, not a gulper. Doc says I probably have the coffee gene. I just know I enjoy it."
I am exactly that way. I've been known to drink two mugs of strong, espresso and fall asleep holding the mug. I love it, drink it all day, but if for some reason, I don't have any, like spring break, I had gotten so sick I went four days without eating, but there are never any withdrawal symptoms.

As a kid I always loved the smell of coffee not the taste, started drinking it when I started working after High School with cream and sugar for a year or so then went black.

Back in the day, when I drank it by the gallon, I didn't have withdrawl or the shakes or anything. In recent decades, I had to moderate it (stomach issues), and NOW I get headaches from going without, and the shakes if I have more than 2 cups of regular in a row. Plus I start talking reallyreallyfast.

I went from drinking too much everyday for many years to cold turkey since I got back from the arctic. It wasn't doing anything for me other than tasting good and what it wasn't doing was letting me sleep at night. I can actually go to bed at a reasonable hour now. I miss the flavor but I appreciate the restful nights more.

COFFEE! Yeah, I drink coffee. Been on night shift (12 hours) for the past 14+ years, I pretty much breath the stuff. I usually have 2 - 3 large cups every night and no it doesn't keep me awake....I'm just addicted to the stuff.

Three to four 24 oz cups every weekday. Iced... so really more the equivalent of 4 smaller cups of coffee. Totally bastardized with cream and sugar. I'll use much less cream/sugar if it's good coffee rather than the office-provided crap.
It's an office habit. I rarely drink it on weekends, and when I do, a 24-oz cup will last all day. I don't think I've ever had coffee while backpacking. Caffeine has no effect on me. I could drink a large cup and easily fall asleep an hour later.

As a kid I always loved the smell of coffee not the taste Same here. I started drinking, with creamer, after moving to the cool and damp PNW. At first I just held a hot cup of Joe to keep my hands warm, now I'm a 32oz. a day regular user.

We were drinking some really good Peet's at work last week. Now we're back to our usual Dunkin Donuts. I'm still happy.

A few cups in the early AM but later affects my sleep. I remember drinking pots of tge stuff constantly through the night studying in college, then making the evening pot to decaf.

Now we're back to our usual Dunkin Donuts. One of the lower profile coffees I like is Chock Full O' Nuts, I bought a can out of desperation one time and found the stuff surprisingly drinkable.

Chock Full O Nuts has seen plenty of use in our coffee maker at work. It is surprisingly good, especially at that price.
We used to really enjoy Millstone too. Now it's a Maxwell House brand and I only see it in K Cups or at outrageous prices are online.

Ever get one of those cans where the lid counter-proclaims "No Nuts! 100% Pure Coffee"
I appreciate a bit of humor.

Coffee drinker here . . . fresh ground beans in a French press at home, or when car camping, but Via in the backcountry.
Big Creek Coffee out of Hamilton, MT has excellent beans.

Just roasted a pound of Nicaragua Finca Buenos Alers. Now I have to be patient and wait 4 or 5 days.
