Why does a proper southern gentleman display the sign of the female gender in hot pink? Get with the program, Ben. It's 2015. I can identify however I want to.

instant just doesn't cut it Have you tried Via? It's just super finely ground coffee beans. I just wish they would use a darker roast of coffee. I've been looking for an affordable super fine grinder, but no luck yet.
Wow, 8-10 cups a day! You must vibrate all day.

looking for an affordable super fine grinder Have you tried looking at turkish coffee products? Don't like Via because of the "sludge".

On the trail I take (as a luxury item) a handpresso wild and my own FRESH roasted coffee(and yes there is a HUGE difference in taste and flavor). Heavy at 1 lbs, but I don't care. That is one area I simply won't sacrifice for instant, via, or any other form of coffee. I have used an AeroPress but I can taste the plastic in it. Not bad....but not fresh espresso.

I make a small pot every morning, drink a cup for breakfast, and split the rest between my ride to work and my ride home. I usually drink one or two cups of real coffee during the day, and two cups of decaf. Nothing but black coffee for me. I also like black iced coffee. I drink Via on the trail.

Wow, 8-10 cups a day! You must vibrate all day Haha. Been like that since my university days in the early '80s. I'm known as a pretty laid back guy so, no: no vibrating, no sleepless nights and to tell you the truth, no withdrawals when I, for some reason, don't get it. Don't know why but maybe it's because I'm a sipper, not a gulper. Doc says I probably have the coffee gene. I just know I enjoy it. As far as the via, never tried it. I should give it a try but isn't it pricey - like a buck a cup?

I should give it a try but isn't it pricey - like a buck a cup? Yeah, it is pricey. I buy mine at Costco so I think it's more like .60-65 cents a cup (still pricey). Since it's just super finely ground coffee beans, I would think you could make your own.
BTW, I like your avatar dog. Does he/she go on all of your BPing trips? My female Australian Cattle Dog loves to go BPing and will not be left at home.
