Bernard Mountain, Mt. Desert Island, Maine. I like this one a lot, but I can't visualize a crop that would work. Did you take any horizontals? Unfortunately, I didn't take that shot horizontally.  |

Not hiking related at all. But a passion for me anyway. Norfolk and Western J Class #611 800,000 lbs of steam powered muscle (not including the water and coal it's hauling!) chugging uphill at 40 mph, hauling 16 passenger cars. The ground was shaking as it rolled past.

Cropping that tent and fire pic at the base of the fire ring would allow for some of the trees to show off nicely.

If cropped from the very top, just a little of the fire ring will show, but all of the fire.
