Returned last Friday from a fall leaf photography adventure about the North Fork of Bishop Creek in the Eastern Sierra. Completed processing images and html coding the below feature on my web site with text and images. And I expect to drive back out on a second road trip several days from now and work areas further north.

autumnmist it is at North Lake, on the north fork of Bishop Creek. Very popular location right now and the dirt road leads right to the lake's edge.
Yesterday a couple stopped me while I was walking along the road and asked "is this North Lake?" It was Rock Creek Lake, a drainage quite far from North. Ironically they had been to South and Sabrina Lakes the day before...very close to the location they were seeking.
I'll match hikerchick395 's Mac promo photo with my car ad (though I suppose Toyota wouldn't care for the dents below the door, and still less for the just-visible duct tape holding the plastic bits on below the bumper).
