Is it just me, or was your kitchen area much more elaborate this year than in years past? Always enjoy the PG photos.
It was the same last year. The first year it was very basic, Coleman two burners at the end of the picnic tables and a variety of backpacking stoves around. But, it has evolved over the years. Chuck used to bring a smaller shelter that worked fine for the kitchen. But, last year Zeke brought that big shelter that is really a portable carport. It works quite well!
It is the third Saturday of Sept, occurring on both Friday and Saturday nights. Next year it will be on Sept 15 + 16. It is held in Colorado, specifically in the Pickle Gulch campground outside of Black Hawk, Co. There is usually a thread announcing it by July. Good eats, good peeps. Bring a tent and cold weather gear in case it snows.
