you do have to be logged in I'm confused! I see your repeated posts when I follow the tagging alert, but I can't see both when I open the new PG 16 thread! So you have not yet found out that creating new boards requires a Permissions setting to stop EVERYONE from having full access. You want to select Members and Staff. Leaving it set to Everyone meand just that: any visitor can post whatever they want. Not good. I did set the board for Members and Staff, so I'm not sure where you found people were "having to log in", but yes, that would be the way to have it. Anyway, looks to be okay now. I'm posting from my phone for the first time so I'm screwing up right and left.

L to R - Houston, Steve (friend of lostone) RebeccaD, Deborah, MsDoolittle, lostone, Jim Fuller, his wife Gayle, Bill Speers, Mtngrl, Zeke, Roger, Bluebear and his daughter and wife Barbara, Bateaudriver, swimswithtrout, Mott, Reminiscence, Jennifer and Daveb.
It was a great weekend. A group of four summitted a 13,600 ft peak and several of us did the four mile stroll mentioned above. The food was abundent and fabulous. The liquor table was almost bare, we had ample fire wood, the weather was grand - well with the possible exception of the high wind Sat night.
The group voted for a repeat next year, same time, same station.

Thanks for the photos posted so far. Little pink bear looks adorable.
The old fuzzy geezers, not so much.

Reminiscence is starting to look a bit more seasoned. I imagine he's had some great adventures since we last met. I'm sorry to have missed Jim Fuller, especially after having followed up on some of his trip suggestions and trying to view things as he suggested. Roger, Zeke and Deborah don't a day older than the last time I saw them. The same for everyone else, really.

I'm sorry to have missed Jim Fuller, especially after having followed up on some of his trip suggestions and trying to view things as he suggested. I've been hoping to pick your brains at PG about Colorado Plateau trip ideas for years, but we've never been able to cross paths. But as soon as I heard Jim and Bill discussing "things" together, I kept inching my way closer and closer until I could join in their discussions. I've never gotten to talk to them before; they are both true treasures of knowledge.

Just a note to bp2go, I think this thread has run its course. We've much enjoyed it, but we can probably un-pin it at this time. Those who were in attendance can look at the Pickle-Pix forum category to get their fill. For those who didn't attend, there will be more! I am making the reservation for next year (2017) soon, and will make an announcement when the reservation is set so that people can plan ahead accordingly. More to come, - Mike

Some great photos, SWT. I've gotten mine onto the computer, but won't be ready to post until tomorrow at the soonest.
