The crew responded to a call for firewood.
Some very fine food was prepared in those dutch ovens.
Early Saturday crew.
RebeccaD was happy to be there. As we were happy she was able to join us.
MsDoolittle, one of our fine chefs!

Looks like a bundle of fun. Sad to have missed it. Even if I had the time and means, some family stuff came up that week. Hopefully next year!

Deborah was crocheting something that might have been marmot droppings? Or something like that... (actually, it was wonderful alpaca yarn).

Around camp: Dinner with Zeke, Roger, and Deborah: Kitchen action: The BlueBear family: Sunday morning breakfast, after we cleared away the remains of the kitchen shelter (high winds proved too much for it).

And the peak-bagging crew, out to climb Grey Wolf Mountain (13,605'). Nearly ready to hike. Motts, making his way through the brush before we start really climbing: Beautiful tarn partway up: One standard-issue mountain goat: The guys figured we needed some really big cairns to find our way back: The summit crew (Bateauxdriver, Steve, RebeccaD. Altitude turned Motts back partway). Choose your own adventure: Willows (find the hiker?) And we stopped to admire some aspens on the drive back:

I thought someone already shared this, but it must've been on Facebook, so here's the whole crew at the trailhead ready to go:

The summit crew (Bateauxdriver, Steve, RebeccaD. Altitude turned Motts back partway). Good job! I'm glad that the group had a good hike.

Great photos! It looks like y'all had a good time in a beautiful place. But it looks a little chilly ... The weather was quite nice. Those from hotter parts of the country felt the cooler temps more than others. But warm clothes and the campfire kept everyone comfortable.

But it looks a little chilly ... The wind on the summit was...brisk. At the pass, too, actually. Bateauxdriver felt it pretty badly. My own jacket disappeared in a hurry when I started moving.

Looks like another great time. Sorry I missed it. Maybe next year.
Dave, I don't know how many attempts you make at getting a good photo, but that one of the morning moon is incredible as are all of yours. Very nice. Thanks.

Thanks for the photos. I like gumbo. But carrots? No wonder Roger looks pissed.
edit: My bad, that is probably sausage. Looked like carrots at first.

No wonder Roger looks pissed. Being a vegetarian, Roger probably would've preferred carrots.
