So, you came on our forum just specifically make a blind judgement against a manufacturer of racism as your first post? Seriously? How about you start by telling us a little about yourself. Who are you? How do you like your S'Mores? Do you enjoy tarn baths or stream baths better? What critter has kept you up all night.

Just as an FYI, this same individual (presumably) started a long rant-filled thread over on BPL, where I believe he has gotten himself blocked. He clearly bears a major grudge against Henry.

Yikes.
I have purchased a fair amount of my higher-end gear used, and have had good luck with that strategy. But...
1. My biggest worry is this sort of thing: that the provenance of used gear is always unknown to some extent, and could be questionable or outright shady in some cases, such as in this example. (I think this is much more likely with "new without tags" items, or "barely used" items than with legit used gear.)
2. I would never expect a retailer or manufacturer to service items purchased used (or whatever term applies here) the way that they would with items purchased directly from them.

All the good bits have been removed from the BPL thread, including what bradmacmt quoted. But interesting info about the company NPS in Henry's response. From their website, they say: "NPS acquires our inventory from overstock, unclaimed items, refused shipments, and damaged products from various companies. Our unique system makes it possible for you to get the products you want at unbelievably great prices!" I see a lot of ads from places like NPS on Facebook and I just won't go there.
My sense is that tarpguy got what he paid for.
I get touchy about people throwing the word "discrimination" around. Maybe the pertinent details have disappeared with the deleted posts in BPL but coming here as a new member and accusing a well-respected company of discrimination without an explanation is lame, at best.
