About a month ago, we lost our son. As far as we know, He got Covid and about a week later died of cardiac arrest in his sleep. We're still in shock and in the midst of our grieving process. Covid can go F itself.
P.S. My posting this is not to gleen sympathy. This is therapeutic for me. I have seen/known about this thread and have not been able to stomach reading through it. I've been staring at this thread for the last month since his passing. I knew that I have been personally affected by Covid, but have had great difficulty in facing my son's death. I think that acknowledging it will help me to go through the grieving process and move into the healing process.

tigger Know we all have you and your family in our hearts. Only time will cause the open wound to scar over. The ache and pain will subside, but will always be there in the background. Take care.

How extremely sad. I know you weren't looking for sympathy but you have mine anyway.

Words fail me at times such as this. I really don't know how to express my deep condolences for your sadness and feelings of loss. But please know that I hope posting here helps in some way for you and your family to find solace in knowing that you're not alone, and that many people here support you through this challenging and sometimes irrational time.
Peace to you.

My family went to Universal Studios* over April break... the one originally scheduled for 2020. Big crowds, no masks, but everyone appeared healthy... until the very last ride. We got stuck right next to Typhoid Mary, both in line and a small enclosed room for a few minutes (along with 20-30 others). She looked liked death warmed over... sneezing, coughing, feverish (she mentioned the fever to her family while in the room). Now I'm monitoring a sinus thingy I've got. Very, very mild so far, and seems to have improved since yesterday. I had Omicron in January, so hopefully even if it's COVID, it will be very mild and quick.
* Universal was fantastic, BTW

Tigger I don’t have any words sufficient for that kind of pain and loss. May you find peace in time.
