Even though I drink that nasty instant, I once actually drank "real" coffee. I ground the beans fresh just before brewing every morning. I was partial to a Kona blend at the time, but I had a variety of beans for use. In fact, I still have the grinder - it's a Krups, holds only a handful of beans and hasn't been used since I worked so long, long ago. Wife would be glad for me to get rid of it. Of course.

gabby, I tend to make a vegetarian and meatatarian ( ) meal Friday and Saturday evening. Others tend to pitch in for meals to help. Communal Coffee in the morning and breakfasts are sometimes available (I think lostone said he'd be making breakfast sandwiches one day). Lunches are on your own. Really, it's just a big weekend to visit and eat and throw in some hiking for good measure. Hope your car is together in time!

Seems like the pre-trip planning is heating up; planning a trip is half the fun (anticipation). Ya'll have fun!

I've always enjoyed Pickle Gulch but unfortunately, this year long standing previous commitments preclude me from attending. Hope you all have fun Climb a 14er for me.
Best to all.

Not, sadly. Got the old car repaired, packed the old car, old car gave up the ghost. (I fear gabby will soon follow - over-exercising on warm days is not good - enough said.)

I will be in Friday afternoon, going directly to PG from Sothern WY this time. Still on track for Friday afternoon, but I had work today so my short BP trip to Encampment River Wilderness and WSA got flipped to Sunday am through Tuesday pm. Good news for others as I won't show up quite so stanky. Also, Encampment River TH is about 3.5 to 4 hours from home on the return.

And their off and running folks, by planes, trains and automobiles. Well, no trains.
Who will be first on site? Inquiring minds want to know.

I worked 63 hours this week. That's extremely rare, but it happened.
Some people I've met and some people I'd like to meet are hanging out on a mountain this weekend.
What's wrong with this picture? Hint - "It's not you, it's me."
