I don't think this one needs much of a "body" paragraph. But I am curious. Does anyone carry a flask with them, and if you do, what's your drink?

For backpacking I use a 500 ml platy, very lightweight, and collapses down as the contents are consumed. My go to beverage is Knob Creek 120 proof bourbon. Not cheap, but the high alcohol content saves weight on the trail. Plus it's really yummy.

Same here. 500 ml platy. I carry vodka for my lemonade, or Single Malt Scotch if I'm thinking cooler weather may be in store.

Yep, I've got one that I bring along on occasion. Usually bourbon, but sometimes vodka or even gin.

I have a flask for camping trips, but for backpacking I take mini bottles. Jameson Irish Whiskey only; I won't drink anything else

I used to carry a 250 mg Lexan flask back in the day. Seemingly indestructible and easy to clean out with no residual taste or smells from the liquids it contained (usually whiskey).

I have a couple of 375ml Platypus flasks that are no longer made. They are getting pretty beat up but are still serviceable. Also have a 300ml Vapur flask, similar to the Platypus but with a smaller cap; I don't care for it as much as the Platypus flasks. Usually they're holding a decent bourbon or single malt, more so bourbon these days as the price of single malt scotch has really gone up in recent years.

I will often carry airline bottles of Scotch.

I was just gifted with a stainless steel flask. It's engraved, and worth the weight just so I can take pictures of it on every trip next summer.

There are people that go camping without a flask??? I always have a flask; my current one is an antique Dettol flask that I beachcombed here at Butedale, and fitted a rubber stopper to. And it's always filled with the same stuff. Captain Morgan 100 proof Spiced Rum. Warms the cockles of the heart, and is good for what ails ya! Cheers!

I carry an 8 oz. flask, filled with either bourbon or scotch, that has a plaid wrapping on it and is of great sentimental value. I picked it up at consignment store in Louisville, Kentucky around 6 years ago.

Usually take a small bottle of fuel. A small squeeze bottle or Packit Gourmets fold flat flask...a lot like a patty. Most trips some Bushmills or McCallan. Once in a while I will add some peppermint schnapps to mix in with hot chocolate if the weather is cool.

I always carry flasks. I like the Rumrunner flasks (www.rumrunnerflasks.com/) for my liquids (booze, oil, etc.). They are very light and the flexible shape is easy to cram in a bear box plus they come in various sizes.
For booze, I take Bacardi 151 as it meets my cut-off for calories per ounce. I like to mix it with sugar free drink packs (Orange Crush, A&W, etc.) and water. Ever Clear 190 would be even lighter, but its not sold in CA and is pretty rough.

Nalgenes are great flasks. 32 oz holds a bottle of wine. Then they make great protein shake shakers, and then they make good hot water bottles....

Haven't seen those before, djayers. I like the look of those rum runner flasks. Light and appears to be completely packable. One more thing I'm ordering now.
