For those who about to rock!! Chevelle is out with a new album (they are an ever smaller family band with 20 years of intermittent hits for those not familiar). Here’s an official video of mostly musical performance of melodic metal ..

One last Christmas tune from me. James Booker shows off some chops at the end I will say what I've said before - while I don't get/grok certain types of music, that doesn't necessarily prohibit me from appreciating the artistry and technique behind the performance. Well done, Mr. Booker, well done.

I thought I posted this before, but couldn't find it. Someone outside this forum pointed me to this a while back. I had never heard of them, but damn, that's got some North Mississippi Hill Country boogie in it for sure - lotta Burnside in this. Plus plenty of wahwah.

I've played them a lot on the radio. I don't think I've posted them here. Brits doing pretty good boogie woogie.

I heard Valerie June for the first time today when the YouTube algorithm threw it my way. Nice voice, but that "twang"...... The twang is something that I'm not normally partial to, either, but today... maybe it's grown on me, maybe it's the events of the day (not good), or I'm just becoming a better listener, more appreciative. In any case, today, this one, which I've heard several times before, struck a good chord with me.
