Really slow getting around to an intro here - apologies: I pay the bills as a Project Manager for a major bank and have had a long career in the MIL. I live in Central PA and run a blog with my significant other at www.alltheadventures.com and some work for Fieldcraft LLC (SOF generated company for preparedness). Proud dad of an 11 year old girl. Liked camping as a kid, but it wasn't until I became a wilderness counselor in the mid-90s that I started taking backcountry life seriously (I was a "professional" camper at that point). Between that experience and my military stuff, I'm a huge advocate of planning, mindset and seeking out new outdoor skills. Of course I love gear! Don't we all. Thanks for having me.

Important questions are, how do you feel about: Bacon! Kilts? Brussel sprouts? Single Malt Scotch? Prefer PAM or Butter for coating cooking pans?
After we see these answers, maybe a welcome will be in order.

After we see these answers, maybe a welcome will be in order. Well I'm not a big bacon guy, I won't wear a kilt and I don't drink. Brussel sprouts are good on the grill and I'm a fan of PAM. I'm guessing I am not hitting the important ones huh??

Vegemite behind the ears? Okra? Greetings from MD. Oddly no. Maryland - a favorite of mine (believe it or not) - my unit, my office and some of my favorite people (war buddies) are from there, as is my significant other.

Welcome Pollock from the Central California! I grew up in SW PA and spent a few years in the military (USAF).
Curious about your username.
