Since we've had a lot of fun with themed photo threads, I thought I'd start another. I'm guessing I'm not the only one who likes to take pictures out the door of the tent. So this is the thread for pictures of your room with a view.
If you can, please let us know where the room is!

So I'll kick it off with two sides of the same room, at Marie Lake in the Ansel Adams Wilderness, CA. And looking the other way:

The "your feet on trail thread" made me realize that I don't really that kind of shot that much. With this thread I realize I don't do this at all, but it's something new and fun I should add to my routine.

With this thread I realize I don't do this at all, but it's something new and fun I should add to my routine. Maybe it has something to do with the amount of time we spend lounging in camp (and in the case of this trip, mosquitoes and/or excessive solar radiation kept us in the tents those afternoons). I always like peeking out the door and seeing the amazing place I've planted myself.

So this is the thread for pictures of your room with a view. Nice idea!! Here is my contribution. Last year's view of Gichigami.

rebeccad , please tell me that you found a flat spot to pitch your tent and didn't sleep on any of those incredible and huge rocks? They'd look great in my garden! Coolkat , I'd title your photos "Peace at sunset." They personify the calm at the end of the day. tipiwalter , quite a contrast to the other photos - and refreshing to view, especially on a hot summer day. The sunrise is stunning - spectacular display of color. Where were these taken?

Autumnmist---The first pic was taken in Cold Spring Gap on the Benton MacKaye trail in TN. The second in Crowder Camp on Fodderstack Ridge in the Citico wilderness.

Some good rooms with views. This, on the other hand, is a view with a room. Not the same thing ;p

I'm guilty like @walkingwest - I never take those kind of shots. rebeccad - that's a purely awesome image.

Copper Lake Colorado. Yeah, I know the lake is not showing, but it is there. I have others. Maybe I will find them later.
