Woman to Replace Andrew Jackson on $20 BillReports have been circulating for some time, but evidently the decision has been made. From CNN Money: It's about time!

That would make Jackson turn over in his grave, which is, IMO, a good thing. He wasn't a very nice man.

A woman on the $20, eh. Does this mean it will only be worth $15.60 now?

I have it on good authority that the next $20 bill will look like this: So yes, there will be a woman on the $20

Not a bad choice. Jackson was a bit of a jack... Tubman left quite a legacy. Certainly a figure worth commemorating. I also understand the $5 will change a bit. Lincoln remains on the face while the back will commemorate events held at the Lincoln Memorial (MLK and such). The $10 will also keep Hamilton on the face while commemorating suffragists on the back.

And Ben Carson just came out saying it was a mistake to replace Jackson since he was a "tremendous president". And Carson was going to be President? Maybe he thought he could emulate Jackson. We might have dodged one there.

That's an awfully progressive step forward. Now you just need to embrace plastic, multi-coloured bills. Maybe a $1 coin? And a $2 coin?

Next get rid of George Washington's picture and name. He owned slaves. Then Lincoln, he though blacks were an inferior race.

Now you just need to embrace plastic, multi-coloured bills. Maybe a $1 coin? And a $2 coin? When I went to Montreal last year, I was startled by your "vellum" bills. And I thought the Mounties were going to arrest me when they found some Canadian pennies in my possession.
