Have you purchased anything during their current sale going on now? If so, what did you get? If not, what are you thinking of getting? I have a $50 refund coming from them. Haven’t made it in to the store (or online) to get anything yet. Might pick up several pairs of Balega socks.
Regards,
DR

I had a surprisingly decent dividend amount (do they still call it 'dividends'?) and happened to be in the neighborhood, so stopped in and poked around. I don't think I've been there in over a year. I ended up getting some packing cubes (for travel) and clothes. Nothing exciting. I'm in my third year of working remotely from home. My wardrobe basically consists of lounging sweats, yardwork sweats, and dress/work sweats. It was time to relegate some dress sweats to yardwork. I'm in love with the Vuori stuff.

I need to check and see if they have my boots on sale. I can always use a new pair to keep in reserve, since I’m on the last pair.

I used my 20% off on a Nemo Switchback closed cell foam pad, short (51" L). It has a variety of uses. My old Z-Rest (which I cut in half years ago) is getting old.
I'm always on the lookout for boots, even though I don't really need a new pair. The Scarpa Rush TRK was 40% off at Backcountry.com, but I couldn't decide to pull the trigger until the next day -- but for some reason they changed the discount to 25%.
eta: I checked again, still 25% off so I started a chat and said I'd buy at 40% off -- and they agreed!

I’ve been waffling between Merril Moab and Keen Targhee. I like the fit of the latter, but had some trouble with the soles a couple years back. It looks like the sole might be different now, so I’m thinking of giving them another chance.

It looks like the sole might be different now, so I’m thinking of giving them another chance. My hiking buddy mentioned he needs to replace his old Zamberlains and was looking to use his 20% off at REI -- so I suggested he go to the store and try on the Merrell Moab and Keen Targhee! He thanked me, but ordered an expensive pair of Zamberlains instead.

I still had a gift certificate from Christmas so I got myself a new inflatable pillow. I’ve used a Exped one for years but it finally died so a new one was in order. Went with a Sea to Summit one this time. It seems pretty good. We’ll see. I hadn’t realized they were an Australian company out of Perth.

I picked up a couple pairs of Patagonia nine trails shorts (40% off) and some string lights (60% off) for camping. I am debating getting a couple more cams and maybe a set of stoppers for climbing.

we're sitting on a $112 dividend. don't need any gear, recovering from a knee injury. will have to think about it with 20% off enhancing that free money....

leadbelly, there is always footwear. I just sprung for both new boots and a travel pack (something I’ve been needing, as I have come to recognize that schlepping a duffel bag around isn’t a good option for more anymore). 20% off of larger purchases adds up to real money.

I've got all the backpacking equipment I need and more, but always have a hard time passing up these REI sales. First world problems; the struggle is real....
I am hearing good things about the new Hydrapak Filter Cap system, so I might pick up the the Flux 1.5 combo.
