I have the Monatauk Gnat, which I've since learned is the same thing as the Fire Maple 116T. Also weighs in that 1.6-1.7oz range. You can get the Fire Maple version online for around $30, less on eBay shipped from China. (I paid $65 for the Gnat a few years ago, close to when it first came out.) I'm partial to canister stoves; just find them easier to use. I've been "cooking" more lately and too lazy to figure out exactly how long it's going to take.
Flame pattern on the 116T is pretty wide, which I like. I get less of a hot spot, even when using an UL titanium pot, and can turn it down to a nice low simmer. I use it with a wide/short pot that's dimensioned nicely to double as a solo bowl.
