I think most of you have my e-mail address for payment via PayPal. If you need it send me a private message. The total for the reservation is $168.00. Additionally we will need money for the group meals. I think $20 per person will cover it, given the typical number of people we have had attend the last few times.

Salida Fiber Festival is 9/9-10 this year, which seems earlier than usual. I guess it's going to be an extended road trip.

Salida Fiber Festival is 9/9-10 this year, which seems earlier than usual. I guess it's going to be an extended road trip. I might be able to go to the Salida Fiber Festival. Though I may still be battling jet-lag at that time. |

Turns out I will have some free time from Saturday until pickle Gulch time. I’m currently in the Stanley Idaho area until Friday night, but would be willing to meet somebody anywhere between there and pickle gulch if you want to do a few nights backpacking. Otherwise, I’m heading into the sawtooth probably

OK, I think I finally got my shit together for this! Last piece was booking a rental car -- holy moly has it gotten expensive. It's more than my airfare. :/
I'm arriving in Denver Wednesday afternoon, going to stay in town for the night, spend a few hours at the Denver Art Museum and maybe a little retail therapy. Going to the Sting concert at Red Rock Thursday night. I expect to be at Pickle Gulch by early afternoon Friday. Are there any errands to be run, things to be picked up? I'll have time.
Work's been hell, yardwork's been hell, RA's flaring up and I've been grumpy as hell. Glad to be getting away. I'll bring wine.

I hope you're feeling better by then.
I finally got the roof basket on the 4Runner and took out the back seats. We're heading out tomorrow with a few stops along the way.

We're heading out tomorrow with a few stops along the way. Excellent. Roger and Dolly are driving too with a stop in Missouri. It's the final state that she needs to hike in to have all 50. Hmmm sounds like a reason to celebrate. Work's been hell, yardwork's been hell, RA's flaring up and I've been grumpy as hell. Glad to be getting away. I'll bring wine. We head out hopefully Monday afternoon. Have to unload the truck Monday and regroup after a late end to our craft show on Sunday.
Stopping somewhere ? on the way, until we get to Colorado National Monument pre PG.

Last week I filled out the forms and I am on my way to DNC and other training to run for office and manage campaigns in 2024. So, I will not be taking this last opportunity to attend Pickle Gulch.
All of you in the gang have given so much over the years and I hope I have given back a portion.
I did not do this lightly, because it is close, and just a three-day weekend, but it hit on the wrong dates this year.
We must stop the monsters.
