Steve, your directions for posting from Flickr seem a little convoluted. All I did was pick the size photo from "View all sizes", then right click on the picture and chose "copy image URL" (using google chrome). Then I clicked on the image icon in the message I was replying to and pasted the URL address. This is what I get.

First, that's good news. But you need to know that in the first few days, many people were trying to post from several sources I have not used in a long while. I was looking for the way, found "Share" and did my best. If you were "right clicking" and got Properties, good to know. On a Mac there is a different way to get Properties. I am aware that I probaly need to stop trying to help and let people find their own way.
So if you can add the full description of how you simply "picked the size" and found the URL, we can leave the corrected info and I will remove my convoluted info. No problem here. I appreciate the help.

I use the same method as DD, which is the same thing I do for most of my forums. Clicking "View All Sizes" brings up 6-8 resized photos all the way from a tiny thumbnail to the original. I've been using 800pix wide. Right click in FF, "view image info", copy the highlighted image URL, insert into the "Insert Image" tool and bingo.

Test on Flickr Image - Thanks desertdweller and swimswithtrout for the info. It beats editing the BBCode.

Hmm. I am utterly unable to locate this "view all sizes" option, which leaves me to edit the BB code.

I am utterly unable to locate this "view all sizes" option On the page you have your particular photo showing, there is a download symbol on the right that looks like an arrow pointing down to a line. Left clicking once will show all the sizes available and also the "View all sizes" option. Click on "View all Sizes" and all the clickable options will be available. Click the size you want. If you use Chrome you can right-click on the photo and choose "Copy URL" or it may say "Copy photo link" or something like that. If you use Internet Explorer, right click on the photo and go to Properties. Highlight and copy the URL address and copy it to the photo insertion tool on the Forums.

Thanks, desert dweller. I'll experiment. I use an iMac and sometimes the clicking options don't come up right, but I'll try. Let's see...test 1: Nope. Not that one. Nor that. Yes! That one! The whole thing is way more steps than in PB, but since it takes PB longer to load one step than for me to go through all these, I'll probably be switching over. The only thing I use any of these sites for is hosting pictures to share here.
