Dang. Sorry to hear that. Heal well, and as Zeke says, push the PT.

Wishing you a fast recovery. Work hard at the rehab when the time comes. Really push hard.
Yikes! That is everyone's nightmare! Graywolf, glad you made it out safely and hope you heal quickly and correctly. And what Zeke said. Push it hard. Best wishes.

Ouch. Hang in there, do what you're supposed to do and you'll be back on the trail before my great grand daughter is walking.

Wow, sorry to hear that. Could have easily been me a few weeks ago when I fell while hiking Dark Canyon in Utah. Good luck on the recovery.

Sorry to hear it. Glad you are ok. This was certainly a good time for not going solo, glad you had help at hand. I have to add, you must be one tough individual to manage the distance with a broken leg. Keep that toughness for your physical therapy.

How awful! That's exactly the kind of accident I fear most. How hope it heals fast with limited inconvenience and discomfort.

Suzanne's the hero. She hiked back to my SUV and drove it to within 100 yards but then had to get all 6'2" of me with only one leg 100 yds and then somehow into it. I'm sure I wasn't the most pleasant character either. Cussing the whole way.

Bummer! Good reminder for the rest of us to watch our footing. The song Gravity came to mind while hiking out after falling and breaking a bone. Take care of yourself and we'll see you back out there before long.

Get well. Bummer man! Where were you? Simpson Station, Fish Spring, Calleo, Ibapah? I ride the Pony Express every year and enjoy hiking many of the obscure peaks and canyons out there. May the force of rapid recovery be with you.

Unfortunately, I have been taken away from things I loved more times than I care to remember. I definitely sympathize with your pain! Hang tough, Knockout that rehab, and get back out there!
Wishing you a speedy recovery!

Let me join the chorus of well wishers. I cringe at the thought of hobbling even 100 yards with a leg broken in three places. May you have a full and speedy recovery. And never forget that PT is your frenemy.
