Hey, I was wondering if you made one of your last AT hike. Looks great! I hope you don't mind but I shared it on FB.

Just as an aside, now that you have done the AT twice, and the PCT and CDT once each, what were your favorite things about each? What were your least favorite things about each? I think you are planning to do the Camino de Santiago, correct? What other, if any, long trails are you considering?

I actually walked the Camino de Santiago Frances with my Mom in August & September of this year. It was mainly her hike -- I was just along to help out. But I did enjoy it. I didn't think I'd like being in town at the end of every day, but it was pretty nice. And I think it's the first time I actually gained weight while on a hike.
As for what I liked & didn't like about each trail, I'll have to give it some thought. But I will say that I loved them all for different reasons, and found them challenging for different reasons as well.

Thanks, guys! Hoping to get some reviews of the full movie soon -- it came out 5 days ago but east coast messy weather has delayed shipping arrivals. I can say my Mom likes it.
But she's pretty biased.

Attention all knuckleheads living in PA/NJ/MD/VA and nearby all of that! I'll be doing a free screening of Thru Story at the Northern Ruck this year, which despite what you might think occurs in Northern Virginia at Bears Den Trail Center. Dates for the event are January 27th-29th. For more info, go to the Northern Ruck Site. Hope to see some of you there!

Hey all! Here's a new slideshow I put together called "This Is Not The A.T." It's a slideshow of signs along the Appalachian Trail set to the music of Mountain Ride -- a great bluegrass band featured in the movie. Hope you like it! This Is Not The A.T.

Very nice. I like the song a lot. It's no Back on the Trail, but very good nonetheless. I do wish the slide show was a little bit slower, though, there were some really nice photos that rushed by very quickly.
