Thanks! The signs do speed by rather quicky, and even I found it a bit jarring at first. But I also found that if you watch it a second time you're more used to the rhythm of it and can notice more. The speed is mainly a function of three things: Wanting to fit in as many signs as possible, wanting it to match the music, and wanting it to not be as boring as a slideshow of signs sounds. I figured that if people wanted to examine the signs for longer than the speed allowed, they could hit the pause button. New Thru Story short film! This was a segment originally in the Maine section of the movie, but was pulled due to time constraints, then reedited and added to the credits.
