Looks like summer is here already in CA. Who's hiking this weekend?

I had a great hike yesterday at Montana de Oro State Park. It was sweaty and sunny like summer. I'd post pictures but have this new iPhone that doesn't take still shots.

I hiked up McGee Creek Friday. The creek crossing bridge is in the best position that it has been in years. Only 1/5th of it is at a 45 degree angle. But it leads directly into a new wall that the runoff created, probably on the 19th of June last year. Tiny rockslides falling off the whole time I was there.
I'll be hiking up Big Pine tomorrow.

I did an overnight Sunday/Monday at Henry Coe. Weather was perfect - Sunny and warm, but not hot. The flowers were starting to bloom, but the hills weren't the emerald green of spring, rather sort of in transition with a mix of last year's brown and some short green grass. The poison oak hadn't leafed out yet, so had to watch the stems overhanging the trail. Highly recommended.
