No intimidation was involved. New York inmates defeat Harvard debate team

Updated 8:00 AM ET, Wed October 7, 2015Inmates from the Eastern New York Correctional Facility defeated the prestigious Harvard debate team in mid-September as part of the Bard Prison Initiative, a program run by Bard College to provide college education to qualifying prisoners, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Wow. That's inspiring. "Like". The telling signs of the positive investment from Bard College ring loudly at the end of that article:
"The Bard Prison Initiative, which has 300 students enrolled across New York state, reports that less than 2% of its formerly imprisoned students return to prison. By comparison, nearly 68 out of every 100 prisoners across the country are rearrested within three years of release, with more than half returning to prison."

Education is often the end of crime. More like education leads to educated criminals able to commit educated crimes. Take, for example, the folks over at VW (not an attempt to sell a product). The employees that created the software to detect when a VW made car was being air quality control tested were likely to have been degreed engineers. The upper level management, who approved of the software cheat, more then likely, had some kind of business degree. I am not saying that I disagree with education. *shrug*
