I avoid chile w/kidney beans for that reason. Personal fracking chemicals. Pea soup seems to be safe.....

Kidney beans are toxic warfare for many internally. Did you know you HAVE to presoak kidney beans and make sure they are fully cooked? They contain as part of the bean a toxin called ‘phytohaemagglutinin’ or kidney bean lectin. This is a sugar based protein (glycoprotein) which is found in many types of beans which includes cannellini beans and broad beans.
Some of the highest concentrations of this toxin are found in red kidney beans.
Hence, really hard to consume in the gut, even if cooked. I don't eat red kidney beans or cannellini beans anymore, as I don't want to be near myself after...lol

For things like kidney beans I soak them, over night, to get out as much bean lectin as possible. It is also important not to use the water, the beans soaked in, for cooking. I, also, cook the beans for 2 hours in distilled water before adding any salts or spices, I skim off any lectin that floats to the top during the 2 hours cook time. This makes for some low or no gas beans. I do not experience any gas issues with beans cooked using this method.

i like Bear Creek; a lot of time and fuel is needed. Canned may seem a weird choice but when one factors in the weight of water and fuel it can be a good option.
edit: many soups require a stove that simmers. a full blazer can create problems. There are add hot water to a bag soups. Sarbar has that wired. Ramen with a Packit Gourmet ramen rescue is my go to. Add a small tin of chicken. The flavor packet provided with the ramen goes in the trash bag.

There are add hot water to a bag soups. That's my approach, except I brew them in my mug (this does mean that sometimes there's a bit of parsley in my coffee the next morning...).
