or maybe some soothing yoga pictures. Yeah, yoga pants pictures. Like the Dan Patrick Show, we could call it our wall of morale.

So, one side yoga pants, the other side men in kilts?

I think one of those amazing Galaxy shots that swimswithtrout posted would look good as a background

Closeup texture of a flat section of either glacial polished or natural surface of Sierra granite, camera imaged from the perpendicular.

Here is a cordura background in a color similar to what HikingMike uploaded: And below is the tile that forms the background. The hue of the tile could be changed for a variety of cordura colors. And the tile can be repeated without lines between tiles. Now let's see if I can find or make some granite tiles.

I'd think it's gotta be something with a small repeated detail, like granite etc. since we're just going to see the edges. Maybe some of that big feldspar crystal inclusions from up around Tenaya?

Here is a cordura background in a color similar to what HikingMike uploaded: As long as that's genuine Cordura nylon, and not cotton! :( Egads, the horror.

Interesting. With a few notable exceptions *cofftiggercoff*I do see a way to make most everyone happy. This software allows easy switching to different backgrounds. All I have to do is make them. It's no big deal. I see no reason why there can't be a set of backgrounds. A couple of solid colors (earth tone) and a few textures Cordura, granite, Brussels sprouts!) and you the viewer get to select the one you want, and swap to another on a whim.
One theme is set as the default, but hiding in your Profile>Settings there is a menu to select a theme. Right now there is only this one, but there can be more. There is also a button I can install that opens your Profile to the spot where you select a different one: Forum Theme Displays the available theme of your choice.
I'll set up a few, for tomorrow.

There. I already like it better! Here's the deal:
Look to the bottom-right of the browser window; you will see s mall disclosure arrow. Tap that and a small fly-out menu appears. Tap the letter T and it opens your Profile.Idit > Setting, look down to find the Forum Themes and the menu is set to BP Autumn. But two others are added: Corura and Tan. Cordura looks good, Tan sucks! (Sorry Hikin' Mike, that was your sample!) Select Cordura, then at the bottom left see the button to save your changes. Back to the forum and there you have it. Change themes whenever the mood strikes.

Cool. The Cordura goes well with my browser color scheme.
