Easier to make than I would have guessed: allrecipes.com/recipe/9172/peanut-brittle/The actual recipe I used (from the book cookie love) calls for 1/2 of all the ingredients above, and 1/4 of the baking soda (AND 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla, 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt) It calls for cooking for just 4 minutes at medium which seemed wrong so I looker around the internet. Mine are suppose to go on Peanut Butter Cookies but I haven't gotten that far.

As you probably discovered, all it takes is stirring and watching. It shouldn't be difficult, but people tend to lose focus just when careful attention matters most.
