^ I like that second last one the most, with the white birch and red leaves. Two from a couple of days ago in Ricketts Glen, Pennsylvania:

Our campsite at Capitol Reef NP
Colors have improved since we were there around the 11th Oct. Is that along the river on the main road just outside the park? Or somewhere else. Not the campground

rebeccad Oct 27 in the Fruita campground
view from the trailer window
it was probably a lot warmer on Oct 11. We left early with frozen water lines and we had to drive through a little snow to go SW. Gold Butte was a lot warmer

hikerchick395, it didn’t look like what we saw of the CG (not that we’ve ever been able to get a site there). It was pretty cold in early Oct. We camped down by the river, and in the morning it was in the low 20s. The breath condensed on my bag around my face was frozen. And when I washed my face then hung the washcloth over a chair, it froze solid again in minutes.

rebeccad ...campsite...location, location. Got lucky with my pick. But we had to share that big cottonwood with a lot of admirers.
And, good news! It is now first come, first served. Brrr, though.
