Actually, why bother with the bottle at all? Just make a small hole in the tent wall and put the hose through it. LOL!

I can't be the only guy who feels this way. It is indeed a royal pain to tear myself out of nice, warm sleeping bag pull cold, damp boots onto my feet, unfold my creaky knees and stumble out into the biting chill. However, once I'm there, I marvel at the magical transformation that overtook the outer world during that brief time I was asleep. I don't know why it works out that way, especially since I go to bed a couple hours after dark in spring and fall, but there's something special about a clear, black sky with a million stars and a hint of frost on everything. It's also nice to burrow back into that nice, warm bag.

I also find that getting up in the middle of the night and moving around for a while helps reduce stiffness and lets me sleep a little longer, so unless it's raining in the night, I really don't mind (once I've actually gotten out).
