Last weekend we visited this scenic preserve and its easy 2.2 mile loop trail featuring spruce forests, and extensive boardwalks over meadows and marshes. Located north of Blakeslee, PA, the preserve covers 2,500 acres. A beautiful place featuring a wide diversity of plants and wildflowers. In places, the forests are similar to those in the Adirondacks or New England. A great hike for kids. We visited a falls on the drive back home.
