I was walking through the grocery store one day, and passed a pouch of powder that said "Pad Thai" on it. This inspired some thought, and I decided I would figure out a tasty backpacking version of Pad Thai. (screw the pouch!) I did some research, and came up with a recipe. My buddy Luke, and I went out fishing, and I shot a YouTube video of the test batch. After the video, we decided the recipe was a slam dunk!

The idea for Pad Thai actually sounds good but the video could do without the obscenities and crude comments. I am an adult, I still found the comments unnecessary, and I turned off the video once you cut up the Spam.

It is something I need to work on. I am still working on refining myself a bit. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I agree with bp2go . A little cussing is one thing, but referring to your stove as a "c*cksu**er"? . Certainly didn't offend me personally, but I do think it detracts from an overall very well done video. I'm not much of a back country chef, but this looks like a very good recipe. Keep up the good work.

Palm oil? Palm oil? I'm swearing, too. Thanks for the vid. Little crude and TMI, but good.

Not offended at all!
My vocabulary would rapidly deteriorate, if I was preparing this meal with the fiddle factor involved
I leave my recipes up to Mountain House, AlpineAire, Mary Jane Farms, Packit Gourmet and Uncle Sam's MRE entrees and sides.

Perhaps my White Trash Beef Stroganoff recipe is more to your liking? I some how used better language in that video too.

My vocabulary would rapidly deteriorate, if I was preparing this meal with the fiddle factor involved I look at recipes like this and think about how I'd convert them to freezer bag cooking

I'd convert them to freezer bag cooking My culinary arts Kung Fu is like 1 on a scale of 1-10, with 1 be the lowest and 10 the highest skill set. Believe me, not my pay grade.
