I'm on vacation next week. Looking for a 3 or 4 day trip / loop (backpacking) in the Boundary Waters. Looking for any suggestions, trails, trailheads, etc.
Thanks

Post your question over at bwca.com, and someone can probably help you. Also, shug has some youtube videos of backpacking in the BWCA, including the Angleworm trail.

Perhaps you could do the Snowbank Trail Loop east of Ely. That loop is around 21 miles. Also, the Border Route as a new loop called the Rose Cliffs Loop. It's only 14 miles long but it gets you into some pretty spectacular stuff. I did a class called "Backpacking through the Boundary Waters" at Canoecopia a few years back. For the handout go here: sites.google.com/site/isawtman/ Then Scroll down to Canoecopia 2012
