Would you like to come and help build trail near Copper Falls state park? thegriz and I will be getting there around noon on Friday. Camping out for the weekend at beautiful Copper Falls. Saturday and Sunday we will be building trail. this weekend, the Fox Valley Sierra club will be joining us. Last year we dedicated 5 more miles of trails in Copper Falls state park and we are continuing to build the trail going out of the park. Come see what we do, have fun meeting new people and also feel good that you have contributed to building the North Country Trail.
Heritage Chapter Work Weekend
Saturday, June 10, 2017 8:00 AM to Sunday, June 11, 2017, 2:00 PM Copper Falls State Park

June Event Focus: This Event will focus on construction of new trail between Stricker Rd. east to Hwy 169 or new trail clearing north from Upson Lake.
Where To Stay: We have free camping available for Friday and Saturday nights in Copper Falls State Park (Hwy 169, just north of Mellen). Remember you will need a sticker pass on your vehicle if camping with us overnight.
Where And When To Meet: Meet at the entrance station to the Park just off of Hwy 169 at 8 am on Saturday and Sunday for tools and carpools. If you join us for breakfast then plan to arrive around 7:15am each day and follow the yellow NCT signs to the breakfast site in the Park.
What To Bring: Please be sure to bring your own water, trail snacks and bug repellent
Meals: The chapter plans to have a camp chef for this event to provide Saturday breakfast, lunch & dinner and Sunday breakfast and lunch.

Great of you to do that. I did a lot of work for the Ozark Trail and always loved it.
