My name is Bradley, and my friend and I will be completing a five and a half day trek through Colorado's Gore Range northeast of Vail. If anyone in the Vail area would be willing to shuttle us on the morning of June 19th from our car at the Gore Creek Trailhead to the Piney River Ranch it would be incredibly appreciated. We will pay for gas and time, we would just prefer not to pay the $160 requested by the only professional shuttle service we could find in the area. Any other help finding transportation in this area or any other knowledge of hiking in this area would be greatly appreciated!

Snowshoes, to answer your question. I'm not keen on skiing, or assumptions. Cal Poly is a wonderful school, and I'm lucky to be a part of the second best architecture program in the country in my spare time between backpacking trips. You are welcome to join us, scuba gear and all.

How about this ?? Though a dog sled would be much cheaper.....
Two hikers rescued via Blackhawk SAR helicopter this past weekend in the Tenmile Range. Your destination, the Gore Range, is all of the snow covered peaks in the background just a few miles to the north.
