Crikey! Your foot's bigger than the mountain! It reminds me of a pic I took with my dog in Grassy Gap in Citico wilderness--- It's the Giant Dog of the Citico!!

Asked my wife, then had to hunt for it, but she reminded me I got an inadvertent foot shot while taking at photo down the chain on the Gunnison Route at Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

So I would have hiked the beach earlier this summer, but I was in this leg brace to the top of my leg. I'm now cleared to hike ... as soon as the weather cools along the Gulf Coast, I'll be out there!

Had to share this view of my feet and body taking a break on a log. At first glance you might think I am incredibly endowed with a monster backpacking-induced Sackage---and yes backpacking can cause certain appendages to grow to massive dimensions . . .

Why are my feet on the edge of a mountaintop? Because my bum is firmly planted on the ground, of course!

TX version of trail. It runs to the marker in the upper R, then across the top to the L sandals + 7 miles of mud and water and cactus and 105* heat

Finally! A pair of actual feet - not shoes, boots, or sandals. But whoa, that looks nasty. Clean up and slather the Neosporin.
One word: gaiters.

Either I have small feet or that's a fairly good-sized puffball.
