Hi all, we just recently, about 3 weeks ago, relocated to central Arkansas and I'm looking for any advice on must do hikes I may not know about. So far we've done all the trails at Pinnacle Mountain, most at Petit Jean, a good portion of the Ouchita Trail (the near me part anyway), the Big Bluff/Goat Trail and a few other smaller hikes. Being so new I know there are things I don't know about yet. Any advice/info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Thanks for the advice. Mount Nebo is where I was looking at next, will definitely check it out now.

Have you checked out backpacking arkansas? I haven't done much hiking in Arkansas, but the area along Sylamore Creek near Mountain View is beautiful. I've heard from numerous people that the Caney Creek Wilderness is the most beautiful place in the state. And, of course, there's the Ozark Highlands Trail, which I look forward to exploring one day. If you don't own Hiking Arkansas, it's worth having a copy.
