I did a search here and nothing came up.
Somewhat expensive ($11.50 for the double serving 840 calories), but relatively high in calories. It's a small, home-spun company based in Maine. I prefer dehydrated food. I don't want to sit around the camp preparing food or make my own. To me, it's all about ingesting calories and pertinent nutrients. I may add some olive oil or packaged tuna to a dehydrated meal, but basically I just want to boil, soak, boil, soak then eat.
Here is some info on their Herbed Mushroom Risotto.
Herbed Mushroom Risotto Classic Risotto with Sautéed Mushrooms and Basil Pesto
Arborio Rice, Cremini Mushrooms, Onion, White Wine, Extra Virgin Olive oil, Nutritional Yeast, Garlic, Sweet Rice Flour, Walnuts, Basil, Kosher Salt, Thyme, Black Pepper Contains: Walnuts. Sulfites Good To-Go

I just want to boil, soak, boil, soak then eat. Wait--why are you boiling and soaking twice? I've never seen or heard of the company, which isn't surprising since I don't go looking for prepared meals. I like the ingredients list, though I'd say better if it had brown rice. I don't think they will use that, though, as even "instant" brown rice requires about 20 minutes in the freezer bag.

Wait--why are you boiling and soaking twice? To make the meat and certain vegetables chewable. Whole process takes less than 15 minutes. I've tried other ways. I'm not happy with them. Besides, There's no hurry. I do other stuff in the meanwhile.

Ah. Got it. I just soak everything however long the slowest item requires--I am nothing if not a lazy cook

I tried the risotto and I thought it was tasty, but something I would want as a side rather than a main dish. After a few bites I realized I wouldn't want to eat the whole packet for a meal. It was too overwhelming, I guess. Maybe the mushroom aspect? Haven't yet tried other varieties of this brand -- but pad thai and thai curry don't appeal to me. After that, the selection seems pretty limited.

If I remember right, the owner was a chef. Very Millenial flavors - not a bad thing

Side note...I haven't reviewed them due to only having 6 dinners/2 breakfasts - and they are nut-centric :( I rarely bring in items to review now that contain that.

I just tried this brand out for the first time last week. I tried the Curry and added my own dehydrated chicken to it. I thought it was very tasty, with plenty of veggies and just lightly spicy. I would buy this again. I also bought a tomato/pasta dish that I haven't tried yet. I liked that the brand uses real food ingredients with way less weird chemical stuff than some other brands.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. If all works out, I'll be doing a hundred mile hike in about a month or so. It'll take eight days so I'll need nine days of food.

ive had the thai curry and chili, liked them both. maybe this is too much information but if youre like me and many others, freeze dried meals produce the worst flatulence. my wife can tolerate typical mountain house meals. the good to go meals are full of spice and, well, lets just say she said to save the good 2 go meals for when i backpack solo...

Good to know. I don't seem to have that problem with dehydrated foods. Maybe it's because of allowing them to soak for 15 minutes improves rehydration.
