There is an Uber driver named Robert who tries to sedate his female passengers, who travel alone. I was one of his victim’s. After picking me up to bring me from Pasadena to LAX airport he was extremely friendly and had nice conversations. The moment the car entered the highway he offered me a bottle of water. I was thirsty and accepted it. Fortunately I just took a small sip. Even after this small sip I immediately felt my tongue go numb. I had trouble talking, and a few minutes later I felt the drug reaching my hands and legs. It must have been a strong drug. I don’t know how I did it, because I was struck with panic, but I managed to act as if nothing had happened. I then phoned my parents in Europe and in told them what had happened while trying to speak with a casual voice. I stayed on the phone with them while trying to give the driver the impression that I was talking to someone on the airport, who was waiting for me there. Maybe the fact that I seemed unaffected by the drug and the possibility that someone was waiting for me at the airport made him decide to not take any chances and just drop me off at the airport. I don’t know. Fact is that I arrived at LAX airport and could get out of the car safely. It was a really awful and scary experience. I am safely back home now in The Netherlands, but it is important that this man is stopped! And that fellow women travelling in LA are warned! So please take care and forward this message!
