Anyone had issues with food storage on the TT? I'm sure I don't need a bear container, but I'm wondering if I should pop for a ratsack or if it's mostly a non-issue.

If you do a proper hang, you should be fine in IN. Just raccoons, squirrels and mice so far though hopefully the couple bears that have been sited recently will encourage others to join them.

There isn't much water along the way.

You have nothing to worry about. The most you'lle encounter during the night, are Raccoons, Opposums, and a coyote or three, but no bears or anything like that. Deer are kind of brave here, that's the only thing you'lle have to worry about if you hang your food. The bears that got sighted were only two, and one made it's way into Kentucky, somehow. The other one is in the deep south here, it became quite famous for a while.

I rode the Hilly Hundred last weekend in Bloomington.
Based on the amount of roadkill I encountered. I think central Indiana is now entirely free of opossum.

Based on the amount of roadkill I encountered. I think central Indiana is now entirely free of opossum. They are getting smarter, and people that live around here don't try to run over them. I drove a slalom course down Mount Gilead Road this last week where possums were the major obstacles. The deer and turkey were looking both ways before they crossed. This is a pretty special ecosystem, there is a lot of evolution going on.
