Panthertown is such a neat place. It's good to hear that there are still pro-public land folks doing good work out there.

I did an overnighter at Panthertown a few years ago, and it is indeed a special place. Hiked along the base and on top of the Great Wall. Also visited several of the waterfalls, but didn't attempt Dismal. I hear that's a very rugged hike.

I did upper and lower Dismal Falls today. It is rugged, and lots of new blow downs had made it worse (according to folks that have been there before. It was my first time). Well worth it, though!
