Hi there, This is my first post. My girlfriend and I are doing a national park loop this summer. Arches is our first stop and I was wondering if anyone has suggestions are good day hikes. I here the devils garden loop is nice and we wanna see all the touristy stuff like delicate arch. Advice on something more secluded and away from the crowds would be appreciated. Thanks.

Fiery Furnace. It's ranger-led, FWIW.

As always sunrise and sunset is the best time for photos and even more so in the Redrock Country. There are dozens upon dozens of great locations, but it's a small Park, so expect a lot of crowds, especially at Delicate Arch !
I'm partial to the Windows area for sunset ops.
When you say "Summer", what month are we talking ? Arches can be a literal "Fiery Furnace" from June to Sept. and only hike-able around dawn/dusk.

Whatever time of year, I suggest getting up early enough to be on the trail to Landscape Arch and the Devil's Garden by sunrise. That's the best time for photos. Delicate Arch is best at sunset, but you can expect to share the spot with many, many people, some of whom will be jerks and ruin everyone's shot by insisting on going right down and posing under the arch.
As SWT says, June to Sept. is hot, hot, hot at Arches and most (all) of the Colorado Plateau parks. It can be done, and enjoyed, but you will need to be very aware of temperatures, hauling lots of water--and starting your days well before sunrise so you are back at an air-conditioned car by late morning. Then back out again just before sunset, or even after, when the temperatures start dropping again.

Take the path closer to the edge, especially if less traveled

Advice on something more secluded and away from the crowds would be appreciated. In the 2 weeks that spanned Sep-Oct 2014 I visited all 5 national parks in Southern Utah, plus the North Rim of the Grand Canyon just across the border in Arizona. Arches was our last stop. I definitely recommend the Devils Garden Trail and Delicate Arch and starting these hikes in the early morning. Nevertheless, there are likely to be plenty of other hikers on these trails. Not far from Arches NP is a great day hike to Corona Arch. I enjoyed this hike as much as any in Arches NP. Corona Arch is spectacular. You may encounter other hikers, but my buddy and I had it to ourselves for a while. The photo album of my trip linked below has 525 pics from our 2 week adventure. Utah has a variety of amazing landscapes. Link to 525 pics
