I recently explored another new place of remarkable beauty on SGL 57. I saw the lost mine, caves, moss chasms, and ice flows with deep spruce forests. The Caves were impressive, formed by the separation of monstrous boulders 40 feet tall. The place was mysterious, as my compass would not work properly, north would point west, south, and east. I then hiked down to Red Brook to see it scenic falls and glacial blue ice columns.
