Has anyone read On Trails by Robert Moore? Gets pretty decent reviews on Amazon for the most part but I thought I check with the experts before making the purchase.
Thanks much.

I recently read and reviewed this book for the digital magazine TrailGroove. Here is the review: www.trailgroove.com/issue31.html?autoflip=127Overall, I thought it was an entertaining and exceedingly interesting book but some of the connections made about "trails" were a bit too abstract for me and I got a bit lost in the notions of the book a few times. Very well-written and compelling writing, with great analogies. At times it seemed like a bit more of a collection of essays, and might have worked better that way in certain regards, but there is a definitely a well-defined and well-researched common thread that ties it all together. Definitely worth reading, but it wasn't a book that made me want to jump up and hit the trail . . . it made me feel more like laying down in a meadow and looking up at the clouds and pondering, which certainly isn't a bad thing at all.
