Hi there. I have been searching online and a little confused on what to do for a 3 day backpacking/hiking trip with my 2 teenage boys. We have been doing several hikes/overnights in NY but want a change of scenery. I read about Pemi-Loop but still not sure. I live on Long Island so this will be an adventure. Any help is greatly appreciated. Figured I would ask here since I have no idea who to ask about this.
Thank you,
Scott

The Pemi Loop is a great hike. I did it in 4 days last July, staying at the Liberty Ridge, Garfield Ridge, and Guyot tentsites, which all have platforms, Bear boxes, and privys. Franconia Ridge Trail is quite special, as are the Bonds. caltopo.com//map?id=5F23

Ok great. No issues parking your car Lincoln Woods? Water sources easy to get too? We all have 6 liters each and we do have a Hiker pro filter. Making sure cause my one son drinks a lot lol.
Thank you so much for the info.

No issues parking, or getting a spot at the tentsites. I went midweek though. I don't remember water being a problem, 6 litres should be more than enough.
