Indeed. Indeed. Children of children is a great tune as well. The new one is different that Southeastern. But my whole family loves it. My 10 y.o. purchased it on iTunes because I won't share the vinyl. Going to Alabama Shakes and DBT at MPP in a few weeks. Never seen DBT in a shed. I kind of wonder how they will handle the opening act aspect and larger venue.

Going to Alabama Shakes and DBT at MPP in a few weeks. Hope your show goes better than mine did. Four songs into DBT's set, they suspended the show because of lightning. Of course, as soon as they suspended it, the lightning stopped. About 25 minutes later, there was more lightning and they'd already started tearing down DBT's gear. At that point, I didn't think the Shakes would make the stage and went home (I had a tooth problem and dentist had me on steroids and I generally felt like crap & didn't feel like standing around another 30 minutes in sporadic rain to learn it was canceled). After I got home, I saw the Shakes got to play after all. So I drove a couple of hours to buy a shirt and see four songs. Those four songs I saw were great though (Lookout Mtn, Ghost to Most, Goode's Field Road, Sh Shots Count). None of DBT's fall dates work out for me, so I'm hoping to make it to Homecoming in Feb.

I'm about 25 miles from MPP, maybe? Never been there though. I need to remedy that as it is a legendary venue.

I'm about 25 miles from MPP, maybe? Never been there though. I need to remedy that as it is a legendary venue. When in HS in the DC area I saw the Allman Brothers including Duane Allman there. ETA I had to look it up and it was actually Oct 17th 1971 at Painter Mill a small indoor circular venue with a seating capacity of 2400 and incidentally Duane's last live show before his motorcycle accident.A great concert!

Luke, I'm about the same distance away from MPP. Yeah, I've seen a bunch of shows there over the years. Uh, decades.

Last night I saw Bela Fleck and Chick Corea at the Santa Fe Outdoor Opera Theater. Just a banjo and a piano. They were great.

Beatles' Blackbird done by CSN&Y. One of the best covers, ever.

The Ryan Adams cover album of Taylor Swift's 1989 is pretty bangin'.

YES... Tales from Topographic Oceans. Now look what you've done. I'll probably have listen to both that and Yessongs this weekend. Well, no, scratch that. My oldest daughter is having her 3 surgery in 4 weeks and I have to move my 87-year-old mother. But you've replanted an old seed. On a side note, regarding the "i" in your avatar, I really liked my complex analysis class. A lot more enjoyable than real analysis.
