Is it a paisley silk robe? Doesn't paisley go with everything?

Paisley absolutely rules. For robes the basic colors should be red or blue, but for shirts anything goes. And a good paisley tie or handkerchief can really make the ensemble.

I do most of my backpacking in cooler weather, when temps around camp at night & early morning are between 25-45 degrees. The camp shoes mentioned so far aren't warm enough at the low end of those temps, even with socks. I have a pair of slightly oversized Teva sandals (no toepost) and some primaloft booties. Togteher they are warm and rugged around camp. I can wear the booties inside a sleeping bag, and the sandals are good for stream crossings.

I've never found anything I like enough too justify the extra weight. I usually take reefs, strap type, but replaced them with some chacos. The chacos are too heavy for camp shoes. If you pack light you can hike in em but not backpacking shoes. Never liked sandals or open toe shoes for crossing anything where I lose sight of my feet. So lately just been carrying extra socks.. but I've found this can have the consequence trying to rock hop quickly in an effort to keep the boots dry. Twisted my knee pretty good crossing a small stream this summer after two rocks in a row moved.

Hey, I am all for alternatives for camp shoes. Yet I do have to say that i am a crocs fanboy. I have them as my house shoes and when I get into camp. Like some of the folks on here im kinda cheap. If i buy something, i use it all the time, not just for camping.
