I just want to know how much alcohol was consumed during the composition of "Tweeter and the Monkey Man."

I just want to know how much alcohol was consumed during the composition of "Tweeter and the Monkey Man." As much as needed.

Well deserved IMO. The man is a genius who brought pleasure and awareness to countless thousands around the world.
So, what's your favorite Dylan set of lyrics? While I like them all, my favorite is "Don't Think Twice. It's Alright".

how much alcohol was consumed during the composition of "Tweeter and the Monkey Man." The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind.

I've seen Bob in concert at least 6 times. I won't list the obvious but here are some of my favorites:
I see my light come shining From the west unto the east Any day now, any day now I shall be released
I don't care How many letters they send Morning came and morning went Pack up your money Pick up your tent You ain't goin nowhere Whoo-ee ride me high Tomorrow's the day My bride's gonna come Oh, Oh are we gonna fly Down in the easy chair
If dogs run free, then why not we Across the swooping plain? My ears hear a symphony Of two mules, trains and rain The best is always yet to come That's what they explain to me Just do your thing, you'll be king If dogs run free

My favorite Robert Zimmerman song:
Don't Think Twice It's All Right
Well, it ain't no use to sit and wonder why, babe Even you don't know by now And it ain't no use to sit and wonder why, babe It'll never do somehow
When your rooster crows at the break of dawn Look out your window, and I'll be gone You're the reason I'm a-traveling on But don't think twice, it's all right.
And it ain't no use in turning on your light, babe The light I never knowed And it ain't no use in turning on your light, babe I'm on the dark side of the road
But I wish there was somethin' you would do or say To try and make me change my mind and stay But we never did too much talking anyway But don't think twice, it's all right.
So it ain't no use in calling out my name, gal Like you never done before And it ain't no use in calling out my name, gal I can't hear you any more
I'm a-thinking and a-wonderin' walking down the road I once loved a woman, a child I am told I gave her my heart but she wanted my soul But don't think twice, it's all right.
So long honey, baby Where I'm bound, I can't tell Goodbye's too good a word, babe So I'll just say fare thee well
I ain't a-saying you treated me unkind You could have done better but I don't mind You just kinda wasted my precious time But don't think twice, it's all right.

Blowin' in the Wind is my favorite. It was so diversified in scope, almost simplistic yet complex, and spoke to so many issues that time, and it still does.
This posts reminds me of all the albums I have from that era, and the prominent people in the folk song movement. It was definitely an era to be remembered.

It was definitely an era to be remembered. I think it's better defined as a social revolution. And, a successful one at that. Bob helped lead the way.

Me too TDale, thanks man.
We have a local young lady with amazing pipes that does a wonderful version of "Don't think..." at the Silver Dollar every now and then.

Girls' faces formed the forward path from phony jealousy To memorizing politics of ancient history Flung down by corpse evangelists, unthought of, though somehow Ah, but I was so much older then. I'm younger than that now
