Hey all I'm new to the forum. I love hiking/through hiking, backpacking, camping, skiing, rock climbing (although i'm a bit rusty, I must admit), and generally anything outdoors/travel related. Originally from the East Coast but moved to SoCal about 2.5 years ago. Would love to find some other outdoor enthusiasts close to Los Angeles to go on weekend (or week long) adventures with! I'm also backpacking Europe April 2017 so open to hear any recommendations on hikes/places to see/good places to camp, etc. I have a pup that loves to come on adventures with me, so any dog friendly must-do's are also welcomed. I'm absolutely in love with the Sierras and try and spend as much time as I can getting lost out there <3 Looking forward to getting to know everyone in the forum.
Cheers!

Scotland, specifically the Highlands & the Isles. You'll want to never come home.
Welcome to this board! We need to know how you feel about: Bacon Beets Okra Kilts Single Malt Scotch Pam vs Butter
I think we already know how you feel about dogs on the trail

Welcome. A rusty rock climber in LA, huh? Have you discovered Tahquitz yet, over in Idyllwild? I didn't climb but I worked in a backpack shop that sold climbing gear, we went to Tahquitz frequently. I took photos of friends on the rock.
Do look around here, find the section on International travel may have something, or you can ask questions there. We do have some members from Europe now, and Russia, and Australia.
So now the entry questions await your answers.

Welcome from another California member who likes to hike the Sierra! No real climbing here, but I'm a fan of the odd off-trail scramble to a lake or a peak.
Zeke forgot to ask how you feel about brussels sprouts.
