Does going to a football game count? How about trimming trees? That's my outdoor experience this weekend. :/

Need to make up for no hikes in September. Gonna be sunny and super windy tomorrow with south-southwest winds 17-29 MPH and gusts ranging from 45-55 MPH. Thinking a northeast facing route to the summit of Kelsey Peak (10,374'), Oquirrh Mountains, UT. Does going to a football game count? Depends... I do six to seven PAC-12 games per year, each 14-16 hours. It's a very robust mental and physical workout. Activities include schlepping barricades, cones, signs, chasing parking poachers and scammers with a dash of enjoyable tailgating benefits.

Samuel and I got out to Pedernales Falls State Park for a short (about 2 mile) hike down the Wolf Mountain Trail. The creeks are in pretty nice shape for this time of year. The weather is finally turning nice down here in Texas, looking forward to getting out more.

A buddy and I just took a nice little on the Nebraska Notch Trail in Underhill, Vermont. A classic, low-elevation New England hike with a touch of foliage season colors! View from Taylor Lodge, Long Trail, Vermont on October 1, 2016

Endless rain here, but if it stays down to a drizzle, I'll hit the neighborhood hill repeat course tomorrow.

If it's not snowing tomorrow, I'm heading to the Line Creek Plateau in the Beartooths.

Went biking yesterday. Today it's yard- and housework, plus a short run and weights at the gym.

Completed Arizona Trail Passage 20 (Four Peaks) over the weekend. 19.83 miles total. Hiked 6.2 on Saturday in very hot weather, then finished the rest on Sunday in the rain.
Great hike and the scenery was amazing.

Isalo National Park, Madagascar. Unfortunately, I ate some funky chicken a couple of days ago and spent close to 12 hours spewing from both ends. Feeling better now, but still a bit weak and unsteady. Went for a short 1 hour hike this morning before it got too hot.
This isn't a backpacking trip, but we've been doing some short dayhikes.

I spent the weekend in Theodore Roosevelt National Park. It's a beautiful place and it was nearly empty. I'll have to do some actual backpacking on my next visit.
